The Code Project is a great site for ideas and projects. People post projects (normally smaller
segments of the project) to show how to do a certain task within a given language. There are a
whole range of languages there and a obsence amount of projects to look at. Go have a look if you
want to learn how to do something, or an idea for a larger project.

W3C is a hive of information and standards. If you want to know how to do something, from SQL
to XML to (X)HTML to ASP.NET there are guides here. They are also heavily involved in setting
controlling and developing a lot of the internet standards.

With the web becoming (thankfully) a more confirming place (as far as web standards and how a
page is put together) W3C have a great tool to validate your pages against. If you want to know
you are doing things correctly this is a great place to start.
