What is CS Jawbreaker?
Well. CS Jawbreaker is a Game for Windows XP. The goal is to score as highly as you can by removing groups of balls. Please visit the FAQ section for more information regarding how the game works and how to play.
What can I expect from this release?
There have been a good number of improvements:
- You now have to enter a username so that the scores can be recorded to individuals
- You can change the username while in the game.
- The local scoreboard works and can be viewed and queried for results.
- The game setup menu now works.
- You can change the ball colours (does not maintain that when application is closed)
- You can change the grid size of the game
- You can allow or disallow it to keep and local scoreboard and synchronize with the website socreboard, (web site scoreboard is not working yet)
- You can connect to the website from the application
AS you can see there have been a number of changes, some of which are still in development. These are being worked on and will hopefullly released soon.
What else will be added to CS Jawbreaker in the future?
- synchronizing the local scoreboard with that on the website.
- Adding a helpful to the application.
- When the ball colours are changed the remain those colours after the applicaiton is closed and reopened.
- Downloading the web scoreboard to your local application will be fully implemented
- Changing the number of ball colours available (currently can only have 4 colours).
- Display more statistics when a game has finished, average score, etc.
Known Bugs
Unfortunately there are couple of bugs (that I know of) at this point which I am working on removing:
- Some people find that they can not click the "enter name" button but pressing return does work
- Sometimes the screen does not fully redraw it self correctly. It puts more white across the screen.
